funding

Grant -  This is funding provided to support projects when filming and is usually funded by organisations or government agencies. This does not really benefit my radio drama as the school will be funding my radio drama to ensure that I record. Advertising -  This is way to promote a product or service through paid announcements to reach a desired target audience. It will bring awareness to the project and allows people to be informed of what is coming. This may benefit my radio drama as I can utilise social media to promote my radio dram. This is because social media is free and easy access and won't cost me. Sponsorship -  This is when a company provides resources and money to support a project for promotional opportunities and brand exposure. Sponsorship allows the project to gain more attraction as once people see that you are sponsored by another company then people will be interested. This benefits my radio drama as the school is my sponsorship and my tar...

audio assets

Audio Script -  This is a written text for a radio broadcast or any audio production that involves creating a dialogue, narration, sound affects and music. This links with my radio drama as I will have to write a storyline for and create a dialogue for my voice actors to read when recording the radio drama. I will also need to write narrations in order to let the voice actors as well as the listers of what is happening within certain scenes. There will also be music and sound affect to create a sense of tension and match with the atmosphere of the scene. Audio Drafts -  This is a temporary version of an audio script or recording which will be given improvements and feedback in order to create the final product. This will be used in my radio drama as I will need feedback from doing focus groups in order to make my radio drama perfect when doing my final edit. MDI Samples -  This stands for multiple document interference is a software that shows how to create an appl...

Scheduling and alignment

The radio drama "they're watching" will be released every weekday at 4pm. This is due to the fact that the target audience of my radio drama is teenagers who have just started secondary or are currently in secondary. It would make sense to do it at 4pm as students would be home or on their way home. Therefore allowing them to have time to listen to the radio drama and catch up on any new episodes. I am also doing it weekdays as everyday an episode will end in a cliffhanger which will keep the listeners on their feet. Furthermore, listeners would want a episode everyday to find out what happens next.

Launch Date

My radio drama is called "they're watching" which is about the dangers of social media for the younger generation. The storyline is about a young girl who begins to get strange messages from an anonymous person that slowly leads to threats and escalates gradually. The radio drama will be released 1 episode every weekday after school hours. This is due to the fact that it is aimed at younger people who are teenagers, therefore it would make sense if I released the show every weekday after school around 4pm. This means once they come back from a long day of school they will be able to sit down and relax and catch up with any new episodes. id want to release the first episode of my radio drama near the end of August before school starts in September. This is because by starting it before school it will gain a lot of attraction from students as their algorithm will be about back to school. Due to my radio show being about school students it will reach the right target audien...
